Mr. Reid is an innovative teacher specialising in English with over a decade of experience working in UK and UAE schools. Having earned a degree in English & Education in Lincoln, UK, he taught at an OFSTED Outstanding primary school for a number of years before moving to the UAE in 2017. His passion for English and dedication to his pupils saw him rise to Elite English Lead for the entire Al Ain region before becoming the Year 6 English specialist at Arcadia.
Mr. Reid is a great believer in developing personal responsibility and leading by example. He is passionate about language’s power as a tool to communicate and strives to develop a key awareness of intent at all times. Outside of school you can find him reading anything from Umberto Eco to a Haynes manual.
