Abigail Copps is a passionate and committed teacher who aims for all children to achieve beyond their potential. Originally from Surrey, she graduated from the University of Brighton in 2015, with a Bachelor of Arts with Honors degree in Primary Education. After her time at University and teaching in Nepal, Abigail taught in the UK for 8 years across KS1 and KS2. Throughout her career, Abigail was appointed as Lower Key Stage 2 Lead, and has led whole school Physical Education and Art and Design.
Abigail strives to create positive relationships with her students and believes it underpins a child’s ability to flourish into a confident, independent, creative and reflective learner. The happiness and wellbeing of a child is central to her practice and she aims to create a fun and engaging learning environment where every child is valued and listened to.
Outside of school, Abigail enjoys sport and playing badminton competitively. She loves spending time with her friends and family and exploring the sites of the UAE.
