Miss Murden is very excited to join the Arcadia team. Miss Murden graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. She then studied for her PGCE in Primary Education and has recently acquired a distinction in her Masters in Teaching Studies also from the University of Birmingham. Miss Murden has taught across Birmingham in a number of diverse schools and has teaching experience across Key Stage 1 and 2.
Miss Murden’s previous role as EAL Lead inspired her love for teaching writing. She plans and delivers innovative and creative lessons to ensure that a love of stories is shared amongst every child in her classroom.
As a teacher, Miss Murden prioritises building strong relationships with pupils and parents and is passionate about creating a safe environment where children are unafraid to take risks and to be curious about their learning.
